Tara has worked as a performer for stage and screen in a wide variety of shows and spaces, from performing work for children to playing the solo lead in the terrifying campaign for Charlie Brooker’s Dead Set. Tara has worked with director Mary Nighy for screen and been a comedy cowgirl for cabaret nights, she is a versatile idiot. No no she actually can act, have a look around at a few things she’s worked on and a listen to her voice reel as HARD evidence that she’s not just a silly sausage.
Director: Bryony Kimmings
Battersea Arts Centre, Nov 2013 - Jan 2014
Tara performed Kimmings’ creation Barbra Bliss; a lovely Londoner with an exploding spell set on her that only audiences of small (and tall) people could save her from.
A 10 minute show for 10 people (little and big). Enter the strange and somewhat singed flat of Barbara Bliss, a good neighbour for whom things have gone very bad! Help the former life and soul of the party escape the Kablooey - an exploding spell put onto her home by a terrifying and power-hungry housing officer. Solve the riddle, lark about and make Babs laugh once more to have any hope of stopping the room from exploding again!10... 9... 8...

Punchdrunk Enrichment’s Route 158
Director: Um, Tara
Co-Created by Tara, Kat Heath & Pete Higgin
Tara returned to Punchdrunk Enrichment to create this ambitious project; an immersive show on a double decker bus, touring to London schools.
She was the Writer and Director and also performed in the project.
Tara played both Alphia (lead) and was the swing for Alberta (also lead) in this immersive marvel about other worlds, imagination and everyone’s innate ability to create something totally unique.
When a series of stones mysteriously appear in a primary school, pupils are unaware that this is the start of an epic adventure. A travel company from another world is in peril, and urgently needs the children's help.
Tara worked in role meeting and greeting children in the school as well as performing both parts for the two hander show that took place on the bus. She also did all of the voice over work for the eight different characters that appeared in dictaphone messages for the children, that’s a lorra accent work right there.
